Nigeria, June 21 -- The Chairman of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Rtd) CON, has commended the Kwara State Government for its outstanding commitment and results in the fight against drug abuse, describing the state's approach as a national model.

Marwa gave the commendation during a courtesy visit by the Special Assistant on Drug Abuse Prevention and Control to the Governor of Kwara State, to the NDLEA headquarters in Abuja. The visit featured the formal presentation of a comprehensive compendium documenting the various initiatives led by the Kwara State Government to curb drug abuse under the administration of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq CON.
