Nigeria, April 23 -- The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has announced its intention to implement drug integrity tests for youth corps members and engaged couples, aiming to tackle the issue of substance abuse and promote early intervention.

Brig Gen Mohamed Buba Marwa (Rtd), the NDLEA Chairman/Chief Executive Officer, outlined the initiative as a proactive measure rather than a punitive action, while highlighting that individuals testing positive can receive treatment before their condition deteriorates, facilitating recovery from drug dependence and related health concerns.
