Nigeria, April 12 -- Justice Abimbola Awogboro-led Federal High Court sitting in Lagos on Friday sentenced a controversial cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, better known as Bobrisky, to six months imprisonment with no option of fine.

The Informant247 reports that the Federal High Court sitting Lagos had last week Friday, fixed April 9, 2024, to sentence cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, for naira abuse.

It would be recalled that Bobrisky had been arrested and detained by the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Lagos State Command, over currency mutilation and abuse of naira notes.
