Nigeria, May 15 -- Suleiman Abdullahu Oba, the Chief Executive Officer of the Kwara State Road Traffic Management Authority (KWARTMA), has urgently called on motorists to cease the reckless practice of driving against traffic, known as "one way."
This warning comes in the wake of a tragic accident that occurred on Tuesday, involving an empty petrol tanker and a tipper truck loaded with sand.
It was gathered that both vehicles were found driving against traffic when they collided, leading to loss of lives and significant damage to property.
Oba made his remarks during a visit to the crash site along the Oko-olowo expressway on Wednesday, 14th May, 2025.
