Nigeria, Jan. 31 -- The Kwara State Government has warned the state's residents against vandalising public properties.
The Commissioner for Water Resources, Hon. Usman Yunusa Lade, issued the warning on Thursday in his office while reacting to the report submitted to him by the Acting General Manager of State Water Corporation, Mr Gana Makun, who briefed him on the vandalisation of the Corporation's reservoir at Mandate Market, Ilorin.
According to the Commissioner, six people suspected to be involved in the act were arrested by the Nigeria Civil Defence Corps, Kwara State Command, Ilorin, adding that three of the suspects were apprehended at Mandate Market, while the other three were arrested at Adabiyyah Asalap, all in Ilorin.
