Nigeria, March 29 -- The Kwara State government has secured the approval of the Nursing & Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN) to commence the training of graduate intern nurses for the first time in the state's history.

Dr. Abdulraheem Malik, Executive Secretary of the Kwara State Hospitals Management Board, announced this today during a management meeting. He confirmed that Sobi Specialist Hospital, Ilorin, and General Hospital, Offa, will serve as the pioneer institutions for this internship program.
