Nigeria, Jan. 4 -- The Kwara State Government has directed the reopening of schools across the state from Monday, January 5, 2026, while reaffirming that public safety remains its top priority.
This was contained in statement, released by the Press Secretary of the Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development, Peter Amogbonjaye on Sunday, January 4, 2026.
The directive, issued by the Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development, applies to all schools except those located in areas currently under special security surveillance due to ongoing security operations.
