Nigeria, Feb. 26 -- The Kwara State Executive Council on Tuesday approved the restructuring and creation of two new ministries to enhance efficiency, improve coordination, and align governance with the state's growing developmental priorities.

The decision was made at a cabinet meeting presided over by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

The memorandum, presented by the Acting Head of Service, Alhaji Ibrahim Muhammed, saw the Ministry of Livestock Development carved out of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to bolster food security and strengthen livestock development across the 16 local government areas.
