Nigeria, July 12 -- The Kwara State Government has announced the launch of Compressed Nitrogen Gas (CNG) vehicles, a strategic move aimed at improving transportation options for residents.

The official unveiling took place at the Ministry of Transportation Headquarters in Ilorin, spearheaded by the Commissioner for Transportation, Hon. Lafia Aliyu Korasabi.

"Today marks a significant milestone as we align with the Federal Government's ongoing transportation initiatives to alleviate the financial burden on our citizens," said Hon.

Korasabi during the launch. He characterized the PCNG Initiative as a pilot program directed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, designed to enhance transportation accessibility across all 36 states in Nigeria.
