Nigeria, June 20 -- In a bid to ensure discipline and encourage punctuality in the education sector, the Kwara State Government, through the Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development has inaugurated a high-level Committee focused on addressing student loitering and teacher lateness in public schools.

The Commissioner for Education and Human Capital Development Dr Lawal Olohungbebe, while speaking during the inauguration ceremony held at the ministry headquarters in Ilorin, underscored the necessity of the Committee, saying its primary goal is to eliminate instances of students loitering during school hours and teachers arriving late or being absent.
