Nigeria, June 5 -- The Kwara State Government, through the Ministry of Finance has clarified that the government has paid salary and pension till May 2025.

The State Commissioner for Finance Dr Hauwa Nuru, while stating this in a statement by the Press Secretary of the Ministry Babatunde Toyin Abdulrasheed, said those yet to get their salary or pension have either not enrolled in the mandatory Kwara State Residents Registration Agency (KWSRRA) database or submitted invalid details.

Dr Nuru, while disclosing this on Thursday, reiterated government's committed to timely, transparent, and full payment of salary and pensions to its workers, adding that all those with valid details have been paid their dues.
