Nigeria, April 16 -- The Kwara State Fire Service has promptly responded to a road traffic accident at Shao Junction, along the Kanbi/Olooru Expressway, Moro local government area of the state.

It was gathered that the accident involved two articulated trucks and a diesel tanker with a capacity of 45,000 litres, bearing registration number T-16758LA.

According to reports, the tanker, conveying diesel, had a head-on collision with a stationary truck parked by the roadside, damaging the tanker's compressed air tank and air lines and resulting in brake failure.
