Nigeria, March 26 -- The Kwara State Taskforce Committee on Illegal Billboards and Signages has commenced enforcement of the removal of unauthorized billboards and signages across major locations in the Ilorin metropolis, following the government's revocation of the 2024 billboard permits and statutory 7-day ultimatum for owners to voluntarily remove the billboards.
According to a statement from the ministry, the committee on Wednesday, swung into action, inline with the current administration's Urban Renewal Programme, which aims to maintain a clean, orderly, and visually appealing environment across the state by removing all illegal structures at key areas including Unity Road, Post Office, Maraba, Fate Roundabout, Tanke Junction, Fl...
