Nigeria, March 5 -- The Kwara State House of Assembly on Wednesday confirmed the nominations of Dr Lawal Olalekan Olorungbebe (Ilorin West) and Mariam Nna Fatimah Imam (Edu) as the Commissioner-designates to be added to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq's cabinet.
It was gathered that the confirmation was done at Wednesday's plenary presided over by Speaker of the House, Right. Honourable. Yakubu Danladi Salihu, who recalled the message from Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, requested the screening and confirmation of the nominees.
During the plenary, both nominees appeared before the House and were screened accordingly before being confirmed after deliberations at the Committee of the Whole.
