Nigeria, March 22 -- The Kwara State Chapter of the Colleges of Education Academic Staff Union (COEASU) has sought the state government's clarification on the status of the Kwara State College of Education, Ilorin, which is in line with the establishment of the Kwara State University of Education.

Comrade Yahaya Muhammed Ndagi-led COEASU delegation made this known during a visit to the Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Hajia Sa'adatu Modibbo Kawu, in her office.

While raising the concern, the chairman stressed the need for a straightforward transition framework and the urgency of addressing leadership vacancies, among other concerns.
