Nigeria, Feb. 15 -- Elite runners from the Eastern part of Africa has once again won all the coveted prizes at the 10th Access Bank Lagos City Marathon
It's 2023 winner, Kenya's Edwin Kibet who led the way when he crossed the finish line with an improved time of 2:14:19.
Kibet showed great strength to win the men's race despite his late arrival in Nigeria. Without enough rest from travelling, the Kenyan showed everyone that he is truly an elite athlete to bank on. He went home with the $50,000 prize money.
Kibet had in 2023 won the marathon after a running time of 2:14:06.
