Nigeria, Nov. 20 -- The leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has been sentenced to life imprisonment after being convicted of all seven-count terrorism charges

Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court in Abuja pronounced the judgement on Thursday after Kanu was handed convicted of Counts 4, 5 and 6 of the seven-count charges, while he was handed a 20-year jail term for Count 2.
