Nigeria, Nov. 21 -- Aloy Ejimakor, legal counsel to Nnamdi Kanu, says the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader has been transferred to a correctional centre in Sokoto following his life sentence.

The IPOB leader was on Thursday sentenced to a life imprisonment by Justice James Omotosho of Federal High Court in Abuja having found Kanu guilty of terrorism charges.
