Nigeria, May 11 -- In a series of successful operations, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has intercepted significant drug smuggling attempts, leading to multiple arrests nationwide.

On May 3, 2025, Ihensekhien Miracle Obehi, a 24-year-old woman, was caught at the Port Harcourt International Airport while trying to smuggle cocaine. Dressed in a hijab to evade security checks, she was stopped based on credible intelligence. A search revealed that she had concealed three wraps of cocaine in her private parts, two parcels in her handbag, and had swallowed 67 pellets of the narcotic.
