Nigeria, March 2 -- The Ilorin Emirate has announced the death of its two prominent traditional title holders in the Emirate this morning, Magaji Mayaki of Ilorin, Alh Musa Mayaki, and Alangua Adewole of Ilorin Emirate, Alh Hanafi Ologbin.

According to a post by Muritala Raheem on his verified Facebook page, the duo died in the early hours of Sunday, 2nd March 2025.

The statement prayed, "May Allah grant the duo aljanat Firdaus and give the family and the entire Ilorin Emirate the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss."
