Nigeria, May 7 -- At the resumed hearing yesterday, the Kwara State High Court in Ilorin was engulfed by overwhelming emotions as police witnesses presented human remains as evidence in the ongoing trial of AbdulRahman Bello, the alleged murderer of Hafsoh Lawal.

The atmosphere turned somber when Ibrahim Lawal, the father of the deceased, was asked to identify parts of his daughter's hands, prompting him to weep uncontrollably.

All five suspects were present for the proceedings, with four of the sixteen witnesses testifying.
