Nigeria, Feb. 1 -- A former federal lawmaker, Shehu Sani, has said that the endorsement of the preferred presidential candidate by the governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike and his colleagues that constitute the G-5, will be irrelevant.

The Informant247 recalls that the G5 governors have been in political disagreement with the People's Democratic Party, PDP over party and presidential election issues.

They also called for the removal of the national chairman of the party, Iyorchia Ayu, on the ground that the party cannot have northerner as the chairman and at the same time as the presidential candidate of the party, in person of Atiku Abubakar.
