Nigeria, March 30 -- President Bola Tinubu has appointed Dr. Ibrahim Yahaya Oloriegbe as the new Chairman of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA). The former Kwara Central Senator will serve an initial term of four years, effective March 11, 2025.

Dr. Oloriegbe, who represented the Kwara Central Senatorial District in the 9th Senate of the National Assembly, brings a wealth of experience to the role. He holds a Master's in Coaching and Consultation from the University of Oxford, UK, and HEC, Paris, along with a Bachelor's of Medicine and Surgery from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna State.
