Nigeria, May 29 -- Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has called on supporters and all citizens to come together and express gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for his swift action in addressing the political crisis in the state.

Speaking at a meeting with leaders of the Simplified Movement to mark the second anniversary of his administration, Fubara emphasized that a peace and reconciliation process is already underway.

"I want to assure you that the issues will soon be resolved, and you will come back to your offices... What is important is for us to have a forgiving spirit," Fubara stated. He implored his supporters to show appreciation to President Tinubu, crediting him for preventing further instability in the state.
