Nigeria, March 23 -- The Kwara State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to expanding water infrastructure and rehabilitating existing facilities to ensure sustainable access to clean water for residents.
Speaking on the occasion of World Water Day 2025, the Commissioner for Water Resources, Hon. Usman Yunusa Lade, emphasised that water remains a fundamental human right and a key driver of health, economic growth, and environmental sustainability.
He highlighted ongoing projects under the administration of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, including the construction and rehabilitation of waterworks across the state.
