Nigeria, May 20 -- In a significant move towards transparency and accountability, the Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. Ola Olukoyede, on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, officially handed over 753 units of houses to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development. The ceremony took place at Plot 109 Cadastral Zone C09 in Lokogoma District, Abuja.
These properties, which encompass a total area of 150,500 square meters and include duplexes and various apartments, were recovered following a final forfeiture order from Justice Jude Onwuegbuzie of the Federal Capital Territory High Court on December 2, 2024.
