Nigeria, Feb. 12 -- The Kwara State Command of the Nigerian Correctional Service has appealed to the state government to urgently consider relocating the Custodial Centre located at Oke-Kura in the state capital to a vast land that addresses decongestion and insecurity.

Oyediran complained that the present location has been overpopulated, which has resulted in a precarious situation threatening the health condition of the inmates.

Mr Famuwagun Oyediran, the newly posted State Controller of the command, appealed when paying a courtesy visit to the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Mamman Saba Jibril, in his office in Ilorin.
