Nigeria, Feb. 3 -- A popular Tiktoker, Murja Ibrahim Kunya, has been sent to a correctional centre on the order of a Kano State Sharia court sitting in Filin Hoki, Kano.

She was ordered to be remanded after being arrested over offences considered contrary to teachings of Islam and for constituting a threat to people on TikTok.

She was brought before the court for threatening to launch attack on some people and for making public videos whose contents were considered contrary to Islamic teachings and which were capable of misleading members of the public.
