Nigeria, March 6 -- The Kwara State Ministry of Justice, on Thursday, announced its intention to take over the case of Abdulrahman Bello, and four others who allegedly murdered and dismembered a final-year student of the State College of Education, Yetunde Lawal Hafsoh.
The Ministry's legal representative, Barrister Issa Zakare, informed the court that legal advice from the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) has been issued and that the defendant (Bello) has a case to answer.
He further stated that Bello would be properly arraigned at the High Court.
The counsel for the family of the deceased, Barrister Hussein Folorunsho, did not object to the Ministry's application but pleaded for justice for the murdered woman and her family.
