Nigeria, Feb. 8 -- Officials of the Kwara State Town Planning and Development Authority, accompanied by security personnel, have ordered the stoppage of the ongoing construction of the Sulu-Gambari Pavilion, a multi-million-naira project facilitated by the Senator representing Kwara Central, Saliu Mustapha.

Sources at the palace of the Emir of Ilorin, who witnessed the incident, told The Informant247 that the government operatives arrived unannounced at the project site and directed contractors to immediately cease work on Saturday.
