Nigeria, Feb. 22 -- Gbugbu community in Edu local government area of Kwara State has been thrown into chaos on Sunday night following reports of a attack by gunmen.

According to residents who spoke with a local news platform, NupekoTv-Lafiagi, heavily armed bandits stormed the community, firing shots indiscriminately and sending villagers scrambling for safety.

The sound of gunfire reportedly echoed across the town, creating widespread panic in a community known for its vibrant economic activities, especially its popular Gbugbu market.
