Nigeria, Feb. 18 -- A magistrate court sitting in Ilorin has ordered that 29-year-old cleric Abdulrahman Muhammed Bello, along with four others who allegedly killed Hafsat Lawal, a final-year student at the Kwara State College of Education, be remanded at the Oke-Kura Custodial Centre.

Magistrate Sanusi Muhammad, in his short ruling, could not take the plea of the defendant due to lack of jurisdiction to entertain the matter. He ordered that Abdulrahman be kept at Oke-Kura until March 6, 2025.
