Nigeria, Dec. 2 -- No fewer than 12 Boko Haram victims have been rescued by the troops of Operation HADIN KAI in a major military operations.
According to reports, seven women and five children were rescued during a clearance operation in the Mandara Mountains, Borno State.
According to a post on the Nigerian Army's X handle on Tuesday, the victims were abducted on November 14 while travelling along the Gwoza-Limankara Road, and were freed on Sunday after troops launched a coordinated mission under Operation Desert Sanity IV and Diligent Search.
It was gathered that the operation was led by the 26 Task Force Brigade with support from Hybrid Forces, hunters, and vigilantes.
