Nigeria, July 5 -- Rauf Aregbesola, former Interior Minister and interim national secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), has issued a strong statement advising party members to avoid insults and attacks on supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
This comes after the ADC's formal launch in Abuja, where the newly formed coalition is preparing to challenge the Tinubu administration in the upcoming 2027 elections.
Upon returning to Lagos, Aregbesola took to social media to thank supporters who welcomed him, emphasizing the need for dignified political engagement. "The task before us is immense, and we do not need to fight, insult, or attack anyone," he asserted.
