Nigeria, Aug. 20 -- In a decisive move, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun State has suspended former governor and current senator for Ogun East, Gbenga Daniel, along with his associate, Kunle Folarin. The suspension is rooted in allegations of anti-party misconduct.
Nuberu Olufemi, the Director of Publicity for the state chapter, announced the suspension in a statement issued to the press. The decision was made during a State Working Committee meeting presided over by state chairman Chief Yemi Sanusi.
The suspensions followed the completion of investigations by disciplinary committees from both Ward 4 and Ward 6 in Sagamu Local Government Area, which were tasked with examining the allegations against Daniel and Folarin.
