Nigeria, May 18 -- The Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board successfully airlifted 558 pilgrims to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia early on Sunday, May 18, 2025. This fourth flight has increased the total number of pilgrims transported from the state to 2,083, accompanied by nine officials from the National Hajj Commission (NAHCON) and a state representative leading the group.
Before their departure, Barrister Ismail Bolaji Yahaya, the State Amirul Hajj, addressed the pilgrims, urging them to "be exemplary ambassadors of the State and country" while in the holy land. He emphasized the importance of upholding a positive image throughout their spiritual journey.
