Nigeria, May 17 -- The third batch of 560 intending pilgrims from Kwara State departed for Saudi Arabia this afternoon, Saturday, May 17, 2025, to partake in the Hajj rites.

Addressing the pilgrims before their departure, the State Amirul-Hajj, Barrister Ismail Bolaji Yahaya, emphasized the importance of conduct during their journey. He stated, "Please be patient, conduct yourselves well, and remain good ambassadors of Kwara State throughout your time in Saudi Arabia."

Professor Mashood Mahmud-Jimba, Chairman of the Board, expressed his appreciation for the unwavering support from Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, noting that it has been vital for the success of the Board's initiatives and programs.
