Nigeria, Sept. 2 -- The lawmaker representing Ohaozara, Onicha, and Ivo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Nkemkanma Kama, has officially announced his departure from the Labour Party.

In a letter addressed to the Ward Chairman of the party in Amaze Ward, Ishiagu Community, Ivo Local Government Area, Kama explained his decision came after extensive consultations with family, political associates, and well-wishers.

He stated, "After careful consideration, I concluded that this step was necessary for the greater good of my people."
