Nigeria, May 12 -- The Kwara State Government has officially launched this year's 2025 Hajj exercise, successfully airlifting the first batch of 560 intending pilgrims to Saudi Arabia this afternoon, accompanied by two NAHCON officials.
Addressing the pilgrims before their departure, Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq emphasized the importance of conducting themselves with dignity and representing both the State and Nigeria honorably during their pilgrimage. His Special Adviser and Councillor, Alhaji Saadu Salaudeen, delivered the Governor's message, urging the 2,174 intending pilgrims from Kwara to pray for peace and harmony in the country, particularly in the State.
