Nigeria, April 20 -- The Executive Secretary of the Kwara State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Abdulsalam Abdulkadir, has announced that a total of 2,150 intending pilgrims from the state have fully paid for this year's Hajj exercise.
This was disclosed during an enlightenment program and special prayer held for the pilgrims at the State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board.
Alhaji Abdulkadir disclosed that fewer than thirty individuals have yet to complete their payments. He emphasized that Hajj is not a tourism opportunity but a fundamental pillar of Islam that demands sincere intentions. He encouraged the pilgrims to act as positive representatives of both Kwara and Nigeria during their pilgrimage.
