Nigeria, March 30 -- The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammadu Sa'ad Abubakar, has called on Nigerians to express their grievances to leaders without resorting to insults. In a Sallah message delivered after observing the Eid-el-Fitr prayers, he emphasized the importance of politely communicating problems to leaders, stating, "If you insult your leader, how can you ask him to do something for you?"
He encouraged citizens to pray for their leaders, including the President, governors, local government chairmen, and lawmakers, highlighting that such prayers could assist them in fulfilling their responsibilities.
