Bangladesh, Sept. 25 -- The government and different organisations have chalked out weeklong programmes in all districts to celebrate the World Tourism Day on Friday with the global theme 'Tourism and Jobs: a better future for all'.
"This year, for the first time, we will celebrate the day at all districts along with capital Dhaka to create mass awareness about significance of tourism, and its social, political, financial and cultural value," said State minister for civil aviation and tourism M Mahbub Ali at a press conference at secretariat in the capital on Tuesday.
Along with Dhaka, he said, all 64 district administrations will bring out colorfull rallies and organise seminars marking the day.
