Bangladesh, May 19 -- The cabinet division has asked all the ministries, divisions and state agencies concerned to monitor child issues during their field visits, officials said.
Md Shaiful Islam, cabinet division's deputy secretary, made the instructions on May 15 to take required steps to this end.
The move came following a request from the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), Bangladesh to issue a common directive to monitor child issues during field-level visit by government officials.
Earlier On April 28, UNICEF representative Edouard Beigbeder requested cabinet secretary Mohammad Shafiul Alam through sending him an official letter.
