Dhaka, April 28 -- Two members of the armed terrorist group Kuki-Chin National Front (KNF) were killed during an operation of the army at Bakla para area in Ruma upazila of Bandarban district, according to a notification from the Inter-Services Public Relations Directorate (ISPR).

The notification, signed by Assistant Director Rashedul Alam Khan, said that the army also recovered firearms, ammunition, walkie-talkie sets, and other equipment used by the group.

Identities of the KNF members could not be known yet, report local media.

Police said that locals noticed the bodies on Sunday morning and informed law enforcers.
