Bangladesh, Nov. 12 -- Stocks posted a marginal gain on Monday, the first working day of the week as investors continued to show their buying interest on sector-wise shares based on latest earning disclosures.

DSEX, the prime index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), went up by 9.55 points or 0.20 per cent to settle at 4,781, over the previous session.

Market analysts said optimistic investors took position on sector specific stocks based on the latest quarter's financial performance and year-end dividend declarations, taking the market in green zone.

Lucrative price level and ensuing declarations from some companies also encouraged investors to buy selective stocks, said a leading broker.
