Bangladesh, June 4 -- The country's tourism destinations would experience a surge in the number holidaymakers during the Eid vacation, sources have said.

Besides, a good number of people are also travelling to other countries' tourism attractions to make the best use of the vacation, they added.

They also said most of the domestic tourists opt for tourism attractions in Cox's Bazar, Bandarban, Rangamati and Sylhet.

Contacted, President of Tour Operator Owners Association of Cox's Bazar (TOAC) M Rezaul Karim said the hotel, motel and guest houses in the region have already received huge number of reservations mostly for the next several days, following the Eid day.
