Dhaka, Sept. 24 -- The Transparency International, Bangladesh (TIB) demanded the grant-based funding pledged by industrialised nations to adapt and mitigate the effects of climate change to the affected countries.

The first ever 'Global Climate Action Day' is going to be observed on September 25. Organised by the global school student movement 'Fridays for the Future', they demand that political leaders take effective steps to mitigate climate change and ensure increased use of renewable fuels instead of fossil fuels.

TIB, in a media statement on Thursday, expressed solidarity with the ethical movement of schoolchildren around the world against the polluting activities responsible for climate change.
