Bangladesh, March 13 -- The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has trained a total of 40 assistant tax commissioners in the BCS Tax Academy in the capital to develop their capacity.
Three officials of 34th batch and 37 officials of 36th batch of BCS tax cadre took part in the training, said a press statement.
The tax academy, under NBR's Income Tax Wing, arranged the concluding ceremony of the six-month basic training programme in its premises on Tuesday.
NBR Chairman Md Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan was the chief guest in the programme. BCS Tax Academy Director General Md Lutful Azim chaired it.
