Bangladesh, Jan. 23 -- More than 50 smugglers engaged in trading contraband narcotic substance of yaba are scheduled to surrender to law enforcement authorities on January 29. But, media reports quoting local people said, increased number of consignments of yaba tablets from Myanmar, its main source of supply, are coming in recent times. Some 500,000 yaba tablets have been recovered from its major route of Cox's Bazar this month so far.
It was expected that illicit drug trade through Bangladesh-Myanmar border would come down since over 100 yaba traders, godfathers and peddlers surrendered to the police last year.
