Dhaka, April 24 -- Project Trishna, a venture of Footsteps Bangladesh, is working extensively to ensure access to safe water for the marginalised communities in the country.

Since 2015 Project Trishna has been working to create water accessibility by installing filtration units in government and non-government schools where safe water availability is very limited due to high levels of contamination, said a press release.

Besides providing water facilities to school children, thousands of people in several public places and government hospitals have been served every day through the water filtration units that Footsteps has provided.
